Volcano Village resident picked up order of dinner plates. Visitors from Illinois came and bought some pottery.
Threw 7 tea bowls with spouts for a Hilo customer along with 23 mugs and 4 large utensil holders for inventory using 50 lbs. Death Valley clay.
Took special order pottery to Nalu Builds Gallery. Picked up boxes of Cone 9 and Cone 10 Orton cones along with 100 lbs of Bmix and 100 lbs of Death Valley clays.
Threw 7 sauce cups for customer on Maui and threw 3 large vases for inventory using 25 lbs. Bmix.
Packed up special order for Nalu Builds Gallery and will deliver tomorrow.
Neighbor came by to pick up mug order.
Packed up an order to be sent out tomorrow to California.
Threw 7 dinner plates (12″ x 1.5″ thrown) for a Maui customer’s order using 4 lbs. Bmix each.
Unloaded the glaze firing from the small gas kiln (took only 1 day to cool down) and the results ranged from slightly underfired on the bottom shelf to heavily reduced on the upper shelves,.
