Fired the Bailey glaze kiln in 12 hours with a 30 minute reduction at the end of the firing using 11% propane.
Did a test of the stand alone cones and the cone pack cones. Cone 9 on both are similar but cone 10 on the stand alone dropped earlier than the cone pack cones. I would say about 1/2 cone difference.
Started the reduction when cone 10 of the cone pack was at 3 o’clock and ended when cone 10 completely dropped.
