Repeating orders done in July.

Threw 3 Tajine covers (11.25? wide x 6? tall) for an order and inventory using 5.5 lbs. Bmix clay each.

Threw 9 plates (10.75? wide x 1.5? tall) for 2 orders and inventory using 3.5 lbs. Bmix clay each.

Unloaded the Bailey glaze kiln. Firing turned out well with light – medium reduction.

Took a load of pottery to the VAC Gallery.

Picked up 100 lbs. Bmix and 100 lbs. Death Valley clays from High Fire Hawaii.

Fired a Bailey glaze fire kiln in 12 hours 30 minutes with a 10 minute reduction at the end after cone 10 was down for 5 minutes using 14% propane.

Unloaded the Bailey glaze kiln and still have pinhole problems with the Torquoise Matt glaze especially on the plates. Firing was neutral to moderately oxidized which was expected as I didn’t apply reduction at the end of the firing.

Loaded up the Bailey kiln for another glaze firing .
