Fired the Bailey glaze kiln to cone 11 at 3 o’clock position in 12 hours with a 15 minute reduction at the end of the firing. Used 13 % propane.

Unloaded the Bailey glaze kiln. Fewer pinholes than the last firing in the Turquoise Matt glaze but some T.M. glazed pieces ran slightly onto the shelves. Flambe Blue glaze slightly weak, Chun glaze good. Medium – strong reduction firing – cone 11 at 3 o’clock. All in all, a good firing.

Reloaded the Bailey kiln for a glaze firing tomorrow.

Sanded and glazed all bisque pottery left in the studio preparing for a final 2022 firing on Wednesday.

Friends from Alaska came by to visit and get some pottery.
